Chick-fil-A: Stuff the Bus!
Chick-fil-A recently teamed up with two school districts in Kentucky to fill a community need: school supplies. Realizing that many families in the area struggle to provide school supplies for their children, the restaurant created a contest called “Stuff the Bus.” Kenton County School District and Boone County School District each parked a bus outside Chick-fil-A and competed to see who could fill it with the most supplies. Kenton County took the title, collecting more than 6,000 school supply items and thereby winning the $500 reward from the restaurant. Chick-fil-A also handed out a free chicken sandwich to community members who dropped off supplies. The school supplies have been distributed to family resource centers throughout the district to be given to families in need. (Click here to see a video about the contest!)
